As a Monfacone Site Health and Safety Manager you will manage the definition and update of the Site Health and Safety rules. You will assure that you consider the Westinghouse direction and the Italian national laws in the definition of the Site safety procedures. You will also detail the plan to constantly increase the Safety awareness of the supervisors and the plant employees. You will be responsible for the safety engineers (i.e. RSPP, ASPP) of the site. You will report to the Site Leader and be located at Monfalcone, Italy. This is an onsite role. Provide direct leadership to the team of safety engineers to be sure rules are clear, understood and updated Perform daily shop walkdowns to assure safety rules are respected Provide direction to the on-site leaders and managers on Safety rules Collect suggestions on safety improvements from the workers and supervisors Be the central connection point between the site and the corporate functions for what relates to Health and Safety Represent the Italian legal entity in front of the Italian administration Review investments and contracts to be sure they are following the applicable procedures Maintain the emergency and safety procedures and assure everyone is trained Assure appointments for safety-related or emergency situations are clearly identified Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, or related field ~8+ years of operations, RSPP, Safety experience in workshops ~ Experience leading safety programs ~ Execution leadership experience ~ Intermediate English competency at B1 We know that to put forth your best effort, you need to be challenged and enjoy what you do in a supportive and respectful environment.
