Position

The candidate will join the Quality Laboratories, providing specialized technical support for dimensional measurement activities and acting as a key point of reference for the definition and standardization of measurement methodologies across the group. The role involves close collaboration with R&D, Supplier Quality, Production and suppliers, contributing to component qualification, measurement system validation and the continuous improvement of quality control processes.

Specifically, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For

  • managing dimensional measurement activities using CMM s, optical systems (Keyence, OGP) and conventional measuring instruments, developing the related measurement programs in collaboration with Product Development;
  • performing MSA analyses and Gage R&R studies to validate measurement systems and preparing dimensional reports and certificates of conformity;
  • supporting PPAP preparation , working with Product Development to define the most suitable measurement methods to be used internally or shared with suppliers, and verifying dimensional reports received from suppliers;
  • managing calibration activities and periodic verification of measuring equipment and supporting the qualification of new components , with particular focus on custom parts;
  • performing complex incoming material inspections and dimensional analyses on products returned from the field, using statistical analysis of supplier lots to proactively identify process deviations;

Requirements

  • Excellent statistical analysis skills and experience programming measuring equipment (CMMs and optical systems);
  • Excellent knowledge of MSA and SPC methodologies and strong technical drawing interpretation skills;
  • Good knowledge of Excel and reporting tools, IATF 16949 / ISO 9001 standards, and technical English;
  • Technical autonomy and a strong sense of responsibility;
  • Ability to coordinate operational activities by listening to, engaging and aligning stakeholders (mainly Quality, R&D and Purchasing);
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking, results-oriented mindset;
  • Clear and effective communication, backed by solid technical knowledge;
  • Proactivity, operational autonomy and flexibility in managing different stakeholders and contexts;
  • Commitment to continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and negotiation skills.
