Job Description
The role is within Flight Control Systems department which is a part of the Aircraft System Integration area within the Engineering Directorate. The purpose of the role is to carry-out Embedded Software Development activities.Main Tasks: â€
¢ Management of software items, from source code creation to software build and deployment â€
¢ HW/SW and SW/SW integration activity within Flight Control Computer team â€
¢ Source code development within Model-Based Design process (code auto-generator) and/or traditional process (hand-written code) â€
¢ Support troubleshooting and debug activity on simulated or real platform â€
¢ Software configuration activity according to applicable procedures and standards â€
¢ Participation in software peer-review meeting â€
¢ Contribution to software architecture definition, with particular attention to efficiency, maintenance and re-usability â€
¢ Contribution to evaluation and selection of proper HW and SW platforms for Flight Control ComputerEducation: Bachelor Degree in Computer Sciences, Electronics, Telecommunications or similarSeniority:Junior (1-3 years)Technical Skills: â€
¢ Knowledge of C/C++ programming â€
¢ Capable of performing troubleshoot and debug on existing code (and based on Problem Reports list) â€
¢ Knowledge of scripting languages for Unix/Windows â€
¢ Understanding of common best-practices for software engineering and configuration management processes â€
¢ Knowledge of data bus protocols such as ARINC 429, CAN, Ethernet, Serial (e.g. RS-232/422/485) â€
¢ Knowledge of Matlab/Simulink modeling languageSoft Skills: â€

¢ Hands-on experience with data bus protocols such as ARINC 429, CAN, Ethernet, RS-232/422/485, AFDX â€
