We are looking for a Junior Data Scientist to join an exciting project in the finance domain. This initiative focuses on developing a tool that integrates AI solutions and Large Language Models (LLMs) to generate and deliver content to end users via a web-based UI and chatbot interaction. We are seeking someone with a background in data science who is familiar with managing datasets and has a good understanding of the finance sector. Testing and optimizing a large number of prompts to improve output quality. Using and fine-tuning LLM tools. Experience with LLM tools or the ability to quickly learn and utilize them effectively. Familiarity with the software development process is a plus. Language Proficiency: Native or professional-level fluency in Italian and English is required. Contract Type: We are looking for a freelancer (Partita IVA). Duration: From mid-December to the end of June, with the possibility of extension beyond this period. Preferred: Full-time. Consideration: Part-time with a significant number of hours. Work Mode: Hybrid. Ideally, we’d like you to join us in-person at our office one day a week to work closely with the team. We are flexible and open to evaluating a less frequent presence, but we value the opportunity to meet in person, especially at the beginning of the collaboration, to build a strong connection. About the Project Scope: The tool generates text-based insights on the performance of financial products and surrounding economic contexts for an international banking client. Data Sources: Tech Stack: The project primarily employs LLMs and Python. Developers, data scientists, designers, and project managers work collaboratively to deliver high-quality solutions. We take on challenging projects and build them in-house. We don’t do body‑rental of resources: we build and leverage our team's experience to deliver high-quality software solutions to complex business problems.
