We are looking for a versatile and motivated Android, Cloud (Backend) & Firmware Designer to join our Electronics R&D Team and contribute to the development of payment systems and digital solutions The ideal candidate combines a solid background in electronics and embedded software development with the ability to work across firmware, Android, and cloud technologies She/He has a broad product vision, is goal-oriented, and thrive in a dynamic environment where flexibility and innovation are key success factors Design, develop, and maintain payment systems and digital solutions Develop and integrate software across embedded devices, Android applications, and cloud-based backend services Collaborate with Hardware, Firmware, and Software teams to ensure seamless product integration Support the entire product lifecycle, from requirements definition to deployment and maintenance Contribute to system architecture, technology evolution, and product innovation Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field At least 5 years of previous experience Solid experience in Firmware development using C Strong product-oriented mindset with a global view of system design and business objectives. Flexible, proactive, and comfortable working in cross-functional teams Experience in Android application development Knowledge of Cloud and Backend technologies Experience with Java Experience with JavaScript Knowledge of HTML and CSS Experience with IoT devices, connected systems, or electronic payment solutions Full-time permanent contract with a multinational company that is a leader in its industry. B2 classification under the Italian Metalworkers’ Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL Metalmeccanici Industria). Gross annual salary (RAL) starting from €35.000, commensurate with experience, skills, and seniority.
