Offer Description The programme will investigate the role of the archive as a practice of memory, as a documentary heritage to be preserved and enhanced, and as a cultural device capable of activating processes of translation and meaning-making. Particular attention will be devoted to systems of memory representation and to the enhancement of sources, documents, and relationships, in order to foster the transmission of mnestic heritage and encourage new forms of cultural and social participation. Building on the central role that artefacts, communication formats, and narrative strategies play in the construction of cultural meaning, the programme will explore the intersection between Communication Design and Memory Studies, mapping the areas in which this disciplinary convergence can generate design experimentation and establish Communication Design as a strategic tool for critical reflection on the relationship between the past and the contemporary world, and between individuals and communities.
