SAP PP/PM Manufacturing Lead Consultant

We are seeking an experienced SAP PP/PM Manufacturing Consultant to join a large-scale manufacturing transformation programme. The consultant will be responsible for supporting and enhancing manufacturing and maintenance processes through the effective use of SAP Production Planning (PP) and Plant Maintenance (PM).

The successful candidate will combine deep SAP functional expertise with a strong understanding of manufacturing operations and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  
• Analyse and optimise manufacturing and maintenance business processes.
  
• Lead workshops with business stakeholders to gather and define requirements.
  
• Design and configure SAP PP and PM solutions aligned with operational needs.
  
• Support process harmonisation and continuous improvement initiatives.
  
• Collaborate with technical teams and business users throughout the project lifecycle.
  
• Support testing activities, including SIT and UAT.
  
• Provide functional guidance during deployment and hypercare phases.
  
• Produce functional documentation and support knowledge transfer activities.
  
• Ensure solutions align with SAP standards and manufacturing best practices.
  

Experience

• 
  
• Minimum 10 years of SAP consulting experience with a focus on PP and PM.
  
• Proven experience within manufacturing environments.
  
• Strong hands-on expertise in SAP Production Planning (PP).
  
• Strong functional knowledge of SAP Plant Maintenance (PM).
  
• Previous experience delivering SAP implementation, rollout, upgrade, or transformation projects.
  
• Experience working directly with manufacturing, operations, and maintenance stakeholders.
  
• Strong communication and workshop facilitation skills.
  
• Ability to work independently within an international project environment.
  
• Must be legally based in the European Union.
  
• Fluent English language skills.
  
• Experience working on global SAP programmes.
  
• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA manufacturing environments.
  
• Knowledge of production execution, maintenance planning, and asset management processes.
