The Grand Events Commercial Lead is responsible for maximizing all commercial and sales opportunities connected to Castelli's Grand Events Division. This role focuses on driving revenue through event partners, sponsors, licensees, and internal channels, ensuring a coordinated and effective go-to-market approach across wholesale, DTC, and on-site merchandising.The role requires strong commercial acumen, cross-functional coordination, and the ability to manage complex sales initiatives tied to major global cycling events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the sales strategy for product lines associated with the Grand Events Division
  • Prepare and coordinate sales tools, presentations, and commercial materials to support all Grand Events sales initiatives
  • Manage direct sales relationships with key partners, including online sales and on-field merchandising
  • Drive sales of replica merchandise and leader jerseys to event sponsors
  • Identify and pursue corporate custom apparel opportunities with event sponsors
  • Coordinate commercial tools and initiatives supporting Castelli's DTC channel
  • Support and enable the Castelli sales team with tools and assets to drive B2B sales related to Grand Events
  • Coordinate sales initiatives with host cities and manage B2B commercial opportunities linked to individual stages of major events
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, product, and xysqume operations teams to ensure seamless execution of commercial plans
Requirements
  • Fluent or a very good level in French (written and spoken) is a MUST for this role
  • Minimum of 5 years of commercial or sales experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluent in Italian, English
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and timelines
  • Willingness to travel internationally up to 25% of the time
  • Experience in sports apparel or sporting goods sales
