At ERG Media, we are passionate about marrying creativity with the power of analytics. We are looking for a Bookkeeper & Junior FP&A Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our financial operations, helping us maintain accuracy in our bookkeeping and contributing to our financial planning and analysis efforts.

Your responsibilities will include maintaining financial records, processing accounts payable and receivable, and assisting with monthly reconciliations. Furthermore, you will support the financial analysis processes, providing insights that will assist our leadership in making data-informed decisions.

Accounts Payable and Receivable

Manage accounts payable by processing supplier invoices, scheduling payments, and reconciling accounts.
Track accounts receivable, issue invoices for B2B clients, and send timely reminders for overdue payments.

Expense Tracking and Management

Oversee a centralised cost management system, ensuring accurate tracking and categorisation of expenses.
Monitor credit card expenses and reconcile transactions monthly.

Bank Reconciliation

Reconcile bank statements, Wise, Shopify, and other payment platforms to ensure financial records are accurate and up-to-date.

Financial Reporting

Support our accountants to generate monthly financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow summaries.

Inventory Valuation and Cost of Goods Sold (COGS)

Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and costs, reconciling inventory reports with financial records.
Calculate and track COGS for retail products.

Project-Based Accounting

Track and allocate project costs for creative agency assignments, ensuring accurate reporting of profitability by project.
Manage budgets and financial milestones for ongoing projects.

Quotations and Budgeting

Prepare detailed quotations and budgets for retail and creative agency clients, maintaining a standardised and professional template system. xysqume
Track budgets against actual expenses for creative, publishing and event based projects.

A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
At least 1–2 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or finance-related roles
Knowledge of financial software and tools; proficiency in accounting platforms is a plus
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Experience in an agency or retail environment is desirable
Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus
