ATS Corporation is seeking an experienced, strategic EU Category Manager – Indirect & Services to own the regional sourcing strategy and supplier relationships for the Indirect & Services spend portfolio. This role offers a unique combination of regional ownership and global exposure within a fast‑paced, multi‑divisional industrial automation environment, interacting with a wide range of internal stakeholders across functions and regions. The successful candidate will be responsible for deploying sourcing strategies, ensuring supplier competitiveness, and leading multifactor negotiations covering capacity, risk mitigation, compliance, sustainability, and long‑term partnership value.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Sourcing & Category Ownership: Lead an international, multicultural sourcing network for the Indirect & Services portfolio, ensuring strategies are effectively deployed and the supplier panel remains competitive.
  • Commercial Negotiations & Contracting: Negotiate prices, contracts, and terms with key suppliers; establish performance‑based contracts and monitor KPIs to optimize the company’s competitive position.
  • Spend & Savings Management: Ensure the application of the Long‑Term Saving Plan, achieving savings targets and spend coverage across the portfolio.
  • Supplier Relationship Management (SRM): Manage supplier relationships within the set portfolio, driving performance, compliance, and continuous improvement.
  • Compliance, Risk & Sustainability: Ensure sourcing activities comply with ATS policies and ethical standards, and integrate risk‑mitigation and sustainability criteria into supplier selection and contract execution.
  • Stakeholder Management: Anticipate strategic sourcing opportunities and communicate effectively, managing relationships with key internal stakeholders across the organization.
  • Governance & Escalation Point: Act as the single EU point of contact for indirect sourcing issues, ensuring clear ownership, compliance, and business continuity.
  • Global–Regional Alignment: Coordinate with global category leads to ensure EU execution stays aligned with global direction while addressing regional specificities.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Education: Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or Supply Chain Management.
  • Experience: Confirmed experience in an international manufacturing company, with a minimum of 5–8 years in strategic sourcing roles in a competitive market.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical mindset, performance‑driven, with a track record in supplier performance management and the ability to work with ERP‑derived data.
  • Commercial & Negotiation Acumen: Strong commercial negotiation skills with international companies, and a proven track record managing multi‑million euro spend portfolios.
  • Languages: English is mandatory. Additional local or regional languages are a plus, depending on the assigned location.
  • Soft Skills: High ability to communicate with both suppliers and internal stakeholders
