Key Technical Requirements
We are looking for an experienced Network Administrator with a strong background in enterprise networking, security, and infrastructure operations.
- Strong hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies, including routing and switching.
- Proven expertise with Cisco Meraki solutions.
- Experience managing and supporting F5 load balancers.
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking principles and protocols.
- Strong knowledge of routing technologies including OSPF and BGP.
- Experience with firewall administration, particularly Cisco Firepower and F5 AFM.
- Understanding of cloud networking concepts, ideally within AWS environments.
- Experience with AWS networking components such as VPCs, routing, security groups, and connectivity solutions.
- Strong understanding of network security principles and cybersecurity best practices.
- Experience working within ITIL-based operational environments.
- Proven track record supporting and troubleshooting complex enterprise network infrastructures.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity risk management, vulnerability assessment, and threat analysis.
- Experience supporting enterprise LAN, WAN, and Data Centre environments, including:
- SD-WAN
- MPLS
- Direct Internet Access (DIA)
- DNS
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess risks and implement effective solutions.
- Experience with IPsec VPN technologies.
- Experience using network monitoring and performance management tools.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to produce clear technical documentation and reports.
- Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem solving.
- Customer-focused mindset with a strong service orientation.
- Ability to work effectively in multicultural and international environments.
- Comfortable working under pressure and managing competing priorities.
- Adaptable, eager to learn, and open to new technologies and approaches.
- Cisco CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent.
- Cisco Security / Firepower Certifications.
- AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect, Advanced Networking, etc.).
- ITIL Foundation.
- CompTIA Network+.
- CISSP or equivalent security certification.
- Cloud Security Certifications.
- Zero Trust Architecture Certification or Training.
- GIAC Certifications. xysqume
- Other relevant networking, infrastructure, or cybersecurity certifications.
