Overview

As an Enterprise Technical Architect at Fiserv, you will lead the design and delivery of cloud-native, end-to-end solutions for the Global Issuer team. You bring deep hands-on experience across Java, cloud, UI, mobile, and security architectures, and you’ll apply domain-driven and event-driven patterns to Payments and Card Issuing domains. You’ll work with cross-functional partners to translate business needs into scalable technical designs, guiding multi-workstream initiatives from concept to deployment. This role offers influence on architecture and technology strategy at global scale.

Responsabilità
  • Lead high-level and oversee lower-level designs across multiple workstreams
  • Apply engineering standards and architecture patterns (cloud-native, microservices, API-based)
  • Translate requirements into technical designs and specifications
  • Manage end-to-end project lifecycle from requirements to deployment
  • Communicate solutions effectively with business and technical stakeholders
  • Mentor junior staff and promote best practices in security, performance, and HA
Requisiti fondamentali
  • 10+ years of IT experience designing and deploying enterprise applications
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Kubernetes/OpenShift)
  • Proficiency in microservices, Kafka, Java/JavaScript, Quarkus/Spring
  • Knowledge of distributed databases (Postgres, Yugabyte, RDS, Aurora) and API gateways (Apigee/Mulesoft)
  • UI tech stack (AngularJS/React/HTMLHTMX/CSS3) and DevOps (CI/CD)
  • Mobile/app middleware experience; security concepts including cryptography and PKI/SSL
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and mentoring skills
  • Experience with agile/scrum and waterfall life cycles
  • Security architecture focus (session, cryptography, encryption, digital signatures)
  • Background in payments or card issuing domains is essential
  • Understanding of PKI, SSL, RSA, authentication, and data protection
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Mentoring and coaching junior staff
