Tecnimont is looking for a Civil & Structural Concrete Engineer to join Civil & Structural Department

The Civil & Structural Concrete Engineer is generally assigned to a project and he/she is in charge of producing documentsand deliverables assignedby the Civil Project Leader related to Concrete discipline (cast-in situ and precast). He/She reports to the Civil Project Leader or to the Concrete Specialist for the peculiarities of the project and to the Group Leader / Head of Department for man-hours assignment and quality of the deliverables.

In particular main activities and duties will be:

• toguarantee the qualityof the generateddeliverables and theircompliance with thecontractual and company standards, procedures and work instructions;
• to cooperate with the Project Leader and Concrete Specialists to the coordination of the activities related to the Concrete discipline, regardless the location and distribution of the engineering centers;
• to manage design calculations, technical reportsand specifications, tocheck drawings anddocuments relevant to reinforced concrete and/or precast concrete, on the basis given by the Group Leader, in agreement with the Civil Project Leader.
• to integrate the Concrete work design on the basis of the project data received from other engineering disciplines as instructed by the Project Leader;
• to check and approve Vendor’s document (i.e. subcontractor construction design documents, particularly related to precast Subcontractors);
• to guarantee assistance to the construction departments and site upon request, in reference to his area of competence, as per project needs and in coordination with the Project Leader.
• toconduct technical trainingas per departmentneeds and exchangeexperience with colleaguesof the entire Tecnimont Group for new Design techniques;
• to keep himself up-to-date about the technical specific improvement of the discipline.

Personal Attributes:

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering is preferre;
• 5 years of experience in concrete design and coordination, preferably with an engineering company operating in the petrochemical, oil & gas, or power sectors, or in a structural design consultancy;
• background in Structural Engineering will be considered an advantage;
• good knowledge of European and international codes and standards;
• fluent English speaker and writer
• experience in working within multidisciplinary engineering teams;
• good knowledge of AutoCAD 2D and the ability to modify engineering drawings;
• availability for both short-term and long-term business travel.

• Will be considered a plus:
• knowledge of FEM structural analysis and design software such as SAP2000 and STAAD.Pro;
• experience with precast and/or prestressed concrete structures;
• knowledge and practical use of Autodesk Revit;
• knowledge of collaborative platforms such as Autodesk Forma/ACC;
• user friendly with Autodesk Navisworks and UPV (Universal Plant Viewer);
• basic knowledge of Project Management principles;
• international project experience.

Compensation

The initial gross annual salary for this position, paid over 14 monthly installments, will be € 45.000.

• The compensation package will include the applicable elements of the Collective Agreement as well as benefits provided under company agreements, including flexible benefits and a participation bonus.
