Associate Principal, Health Economics, Health Technology Assessment

• Work directly with life sciences clients as a trusted partner on strategic, scientific, and analytical challenges
• Shape and deliver high-impact health economics and health technology assessment engagements
• Drive client satisfaction and identify new business opportunities
• Manage or lead multiple engagements and ensure on-time and on-budget delivery
• Manage project teams in designing, developing, and delivering client deliverables
• Identify alternative and innovative approaches to client questions
• Serve as a key point of contact with clients and follow up after engagements
• Ensure clear communication throughout projects and within the team
• Support development of intellectual property for future engagements
• Manage proposal preparation and modifications, including overall bid integrity
• Develop follow-on work and new business leads
• Provide direction, advice, and intellectual leadership to clients and delivery teams
• Direct consulting teams through participation in team meetings
• Provide input to client reports and presentations and deliver findings to clients
• Share subject matter expertise to elevate delivery capabilities
• Lead ad hoc go-to-market workstreams, including thought leadership, speaking engagements, client meetings, and publications
• Coach junior team members
• Enable others to perform, delegate appropriately, and develop individuals through increased responsibility

Requirements

• Typically, 7-10 years professional experience in HEOR or HTA within the pharmaceutical and/or healthcare industry with evidence of career progression
• Subject matter expertise in health economics, evidence synthesis and HTA, including HE modelling, evidence/HTA strategy, SLR, ITC, GVD, scientific advice, and JCA
• Experience with AI/ML is a plus
• Demonstrable analytical, interpretative, and problem-solving skills
• Experience in and commitment to the life sciences and/or healthcare industries
• Minimum of 2-3 years project management/leadership experience focused on strategic consulting engagements
• Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, including presentations, leading meetings, workshop facilitation, business and report writing
• Strong capability in managing large and/or multiple projects and juggling priorities
• Experience working in multi-disciplined teams
• Experience developing credible relationships with senior-level managers and executives in the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with others across the organization
• Ability to contribute to business development through identifying leads and developing proposals
• Knowledge of key issues and current developments in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries
• Knowledge of consulting methodologies, tools, and techniques
• Master's Degree or equivalent; PhD not required but a plus
• Track record of leadership and people development
• Fluency in English, spoken and written
• Willingness and ability to travel (<25%)
• Right to live and work in the recruiting country
