DESIGN ENGINEER – INDUSTRIAL PLANT LAYOUT | PROGETTISTA – LAYOUT IMPIANTI INDUSTRIALI

As part of the Technical Department, you will work in close collaboration with project managers, process engineers and mechanical and structural designers. The first objective is to ensure that the integration of machinery, piping, structural steelwork, foundation work and auxiliary services complies with the client's technical specifications, safety standards and logical production workflows. The role involves overseeing the project from the initial feasibility study phases through to the release of construction drawings for the job site

Il suo obiettivo principale è garantire che l’integrazione di macchinari, tubazioni (piping), carpenterie, opere di fondazione e servizi ausiliari avvenga nel rispetto delle specifiche tecniche del cliente, delle norme di sicurezza e dei flussi logico-produttivi. Segue il progetto dalle prime fasi di studio di fattibilità fino al rilascio dei disegni esecutivi per il cantiere

Responsibilities

• Plant Layout Development: design and development of general floor plans, cross-sections, and isometric views of industrial plants, defining the correct positioning of machinery, equipment, support structures and access routes

  - Progettazione Geometrica delle Fondazioni: disegno geometrico delle fondazioni necessarie per il posizionamento dei macchinari a partire dal layout
• Flow Optimization: layout analysis to ensure the efficiency of material and personnel flows, minimizing interference and optimizing the available physical space within the plant
  - Ottimizzazione dei Flussi: studio di layout per assicurare l’efficienza dei flussi di materiali e personale, minimizzando le interferenze e ottimizzando gli spazi fisici disponibili nello stabilimento
• Regulatory Compliance: Continuously verify that designs comply with safety standards, local environmental regulations (e.g., Machinery Directive, escape routes, ergonomics) and the company’s quality requirements

• Document Management: Keep technical documentation and bills of materials updated and manage design changes requested by the customer during the project

Technical Requirements

  Education:
  Technical high school diploma (in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Surveying) or a bachelor’s degree (including a three-year program) in Mechanical, Management or Civil Engineering
  - Titolo di Studio: Diploma ad indirizzo tecnico (Meccanico, Meccatronico o Geometra) o Laurea (anche triennale) in Ingegneria Meccanica, Gestionale, Civile

  Experience:
  At least 5 years of experience in the design and layout development of mechanical industry systems at qualified engineering firms

  Esperienza:
  minima 5 anni in progettazione e sviluppo layout di impianti per l’industria meccanica presso uffici tecnici qualificati
• Fastening and Anchoring Systems: Knowledge of methods for fastening, anchoring, and grouting heavy industrial machinery to concrete and "grouting." Ability to evaluate and select anchoring solutions (mechanical or chemical) based on static and dynamic loads
