Position: Cambridge Global Perspectives, ESL, English & American Literature Teacher
We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Cambridge Global Perspectives, ESL & Literature Teacher to join our international school in Florence, Italy.
The successful candidate will hold a relevant degree in English, English Literature, American Literature, Education, Humanities, or a related field, together with an excellent command of English (C1 level or above).
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience teaching Cambridge IGCSE Global Perspectives (0457) and familiarity with its assessment and examination requirements.
- Experience teaching ESL/English Language and English or American Literature in an international or bilingual setting.
- A strong ability to develop students’ critical thinking, communication, research and analytical skills.
- Experience working with international curricula, preferably Cambridge programmes.
- A recognised teaching qualification or relevant teacher-training certification is an advantage.
We are looking for a student-centred, collaborative and inspiring educator who is passionate about teaching, intercultural learning and preparing students for success in an international academic environment.
