In this Cyber Security Senior Analyst role, you operate within Barilla's Global Corporate Cybersecurity team to ensure a secure, resilient digital environment. You will lead hands-on security operations, engineering improvements, and engagement with managed services, driving incident response and threat hunting. The position supports the Information Security Management System and NIS2 obligations within the food sector. You work across hybrid environments to deliver measurable security outcomes and strategic improvements.
Responsabilità- Operate and improve cybersecurity technologies across hybrid cloud, on-premises and SaaS environments
- Oversee health of controls, telemetry pipelines, and data ingestion with timely backlogs and handovers
- Perform detection engineering, CTI integration, IoC operationalisation, threat hunting and incident response
- Coordinate security service delivery with managed providers and third parties
- Lead risk-based vulnerability management and secure configurations for corporate scope and IT/OT interfaces
- Conduct security-by-design reviews and privacy-by-design coordination with Privacy/DPO
- Support identity and access management, governance and anomaly investigations
- Maintain governance documentation, runbooks, and response plans; contribute to tabletop exercises
- Analyze cybersecurity performance and report risk with actionable improvements
- Bachelor in Cybersecurity or related field (or national equivalent)
- Typically at least 2 years in cybersecurity operations, security engineering, or related areas
- Professional English fluency; Italian mandatory
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft security platforms (Azure/Entra ID/Microsoft 365, Defender XDR, Sentinel)
- Scripting or automation in PowerShell or Python
- Knowledge of ISO/IEC 27001/27002, NIST CSF 2.0, NIS2
- CTI/TIP, IAM/PAM, vulnerability management, and cloud controls considered a plus
- Cross-functional collaboration

- Delivery-focused with attention to detail
- Microsoft security technologies (Azure/Entra ID, Defender XDR, Sentinel)
- PowerShell or Python scripting
- CTI/TIP tools (MISP, STIX/TAXII)
