Barilla G. e R. Fratelli S.p.A. is seeking a Maintenance Manager for the Castiglione Plant. The position will report directly to the Technical Area Manager and will be responsible for managing a team of 27 people.

Responsibilities

Ensure and maximize the reliability and efficiency of production and packaging lines through the planning and management of ordinary, extraordinary, corrective, and improvement maintenance activities, coordinating both internal and external resources.

Propose investment projects and technical interventions aimed at maximizing line performance and reliability.

Ensure the availability of adequate maintenance materials by timely requesting supplies in line with plant needs and the guidelines provided by the direct manager and the Group's functional references.

Main Activities

Ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations in the selection of technical components and the execution of maintenance activities.

Ensure the management and continuous updating of asset documentation and mandatory documentation related to plant fixed assets, in compliance with legal requirements and Group procedures.

Define the most appropriate maintenance policies for production and packaging lines as RLC (Responsible for Works and Costs), including intervention methods for scheduled maintenance activities, timing, costs, and the allocation of internal and external resources, in accordance with Company guidelines and plant requirements.

Ensure the effective execution of ordinary and extraordinary maintenance activities on production and packaging lines, coordinating assigned personnel and external contractors while respecting production schedules and maintenance plans, and ensuring the best possible balance between time, costs, and operational efficiency.

Ensure effective planning of maintenance activities and services, reducing the duration and frequency of interventions, minimizing costs and downtime, and ensuring the continuous operation of production lines and plant facilities.

Identify opportunities to improve machinery, systems, and technologies by taking into account their obsolescence. Manage modification requests from Production functions and define the most appropriate technical solutions to maximize production efficiency and minimize costs.

Support the assembly and installation of new lines and machinery, collaborating during testing and production start-up activities and defining corrective actions in the event of changes or delays, in accordance with existing Group procedures.

Contribute, together with the direct manager, to the management and development of assigned human resources, ensuring appropriate competence levels through employee engagement and in line with Company policies.

Ensure the proper management and reliability of maintenance data and information entered into the plant's CMMS, enabling accurate data analysis and supporting a continuous improvement approach.

Requirements and Skills

Technical diploma in Mechanical or Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or equivalent proven experience.

Excellent knowledge of mechanical drawings and technical documentation.

Ability to read and interpret electrical and pneumatic diagrams.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Inventor, Microsoft Office, SAP, and Siemens STEP 7, particularly for PLC troubleshooting and maintenance activities.

COMPENSATION PACKAGE

The gross annual base salary (RAL) offered will be no less than € 48.000, in accordance with the provisions of the applicable National Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCNL Industria Alimentare)
