Overview

As a Field-based Key Account Manager for Lombardia Ovest (preferably Milan), you drive adoption of Oncotype DX by building local account plans aligned with the national strategy. You engage oncology stakeholders and reimbursement decision-makers to demonstrate value and secure patient access within Italy’s public system. You work autonomously to differentiate Oncotype DX in a competitive market and pursue aggressive regional sales growth. This role blends strategic account management with hands-on relationship building across clinical and non-clinical customers to advance genomic testing in early-stage breast cancer.

Responsabilità
  • Develop local account plans aligned to national brand strategy
  • Manage Lombardia Ovest territory with autonomy to maximise ROI
  • Engage HCPs (surgeons, oncologists, pathologists) and non-clinical stakeholders to drive adoption
  • Provide logistical support to Designated Cancer Centers for order efficiency
  • Differentiate Oncotype DX from competitors and articulate value beyond testing
  • Collaborate with sales management and marketing to align messages
  • Attend meetings and conferences to stay connected with the field
  • Travel to national meetings 3–4 times per year (and potentially international congresses)
Requisiti fondamentali
  • 5 years sales experience promoting premium medical oncology or diagnostic products (preferably breast cancer)
  • Experience with multiple stakeholders across National Health System and reimbursement
  • Strong knowledge of regional KOLs (oncologists, pathologists, procurement, decision makers)
  • Proven large territory and key account management skills
  • Understanding of cancer clinical research and diagnostics, with familiarity in Italian public healthcare sector
  • Effective communication skills at all levels of the National Health System
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking
  • Self-starter with autonomous/entrepreneurial mindset in smaller orgs or divisions within healthcare
  • Willingness to travel for meetings and conferences
