In this field-based role, you will drive growth for OncoType DX in Lombardia Ovest, aligning with the national brand plan. You will build and execute local account strategies, engaging surgeons, oncologists, and pathologists to advance adoption and access through the Italian National Health System. You will work autonomously to optimize territory activities, differentiate our genomic tests from competitors, and collaborate with sales and marketing to communicate value. This is a pivotal position in a small, ambitious team with regional and cross-country impact.
Responsabilità- Pursue agreed commercial objectives and engage with stakeholders in the Italian Oncology community, especially breast cancer.
- Provide logistical support to Designated Cancer Centers to ensure efficient ordering of OncoType DX.
- Develop and execute local account plans aligned to the national brand plan to drive above-target sales growth.
- Demonstrate technical fluency in genomic testing and EXAS products to influence target physicians and influencers.
- Build relationships with non-clinical customers to illustrate the value of OncoType DX for the National Health System.
- Represent the region autonomously, prioritizing activities for maximum ROI, and adapt in a competitive multi-gene assay market.
- Communicate product sales and marketing messages effectively with sales management and marketing teams.
- Attend sales meetings and professional conferences to maintain professionalism and commitment.
- 5 years of sales experience promoting complex medical oncology or diagnostics products (ideally breast cancer) in the region
- Experience with multiple NHS stakeholders and reimbursement processes
- Strong knowledge of regional KOLs (Oncologists, Pathologists, Procurement, Decision Makers)
- Proven large territory and key account management skills
- Deep understanding of clinical research and diagnostics in cancer
- Excellent oral and written communication across NHS levels
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking
- Autonomous, entrepreneurial mindset suitable for smaller orgs or divisions
- Willingness to travel nationally 3–4 times per year, with potential international congress attendance
- Clean Italian driver’s license
- Knowledge of OncoType DX and preventive understanding of its advantages over competitors
