Operating in the Product and Quality Assurance department, part of Operational Excellence, and reporting to the Head of Product Assurance, the Product Assurance Specialist (PAS) will be cooperating with Product Assurance Managers for product assurance and safety for D-Orbit’s platforms, driving quality across the assigned product portfolio.
Across the product lifecycle, the PAS will develop, implement, and maintain product assurance practices and related disciplines, including EEE, radiation assurance, materials and processes, software quality assurance, quality assurance, RAMS, and SQA.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage Product Assurance activities and related disciplines throughout the project lifecycle, participating in day-to-day project activities.
- Actively contribute to project reviews by preparing required documentation and reviewing documentation produced by the team.
- Manage non-conformance review activities, including NCR coordination and follow-up.
- Perform tailoring activities and prepare statements of compliance for externally provided project requirements, including ECSS requirements.
- Ensure that products and services comply with applicable internal and external standards and requirements.
- Work in synergy with the Product Assurance Manager and Engineering team.
Experience Required
- Previous experience in institutional or commercial space programs.
- Previous experience in the aviation sector.
- Experience with ECSS standards, or willingness to develop ECSS expertise.
- At least 2 years of proven experience managing product assurance activities.

Education
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant engineering discipline.
Language/IT
- Full professional proficiency in the English language.
- Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
- Requirements Database (Doors, Jama, Code Beamer)
- Cooperation tools (Confluence, JIRA)
- Eclipse
- Deep knowledge of AI tools
We offer a base salary range of €30,000–€40,000 gross per year for this role, depending on experience and location, plus a performance-based variable component. Final offer may vary based on overall fit and internal equity.
