In this Electromechanical Engineer role within ABB’s R&D Electromechanics team, you will advance solid-state product development by applying mechanical and thermo-hydraulic expertise. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to propose and implement innovative solutions, maintain and evolve products in production, and ensure alignment with standards and quality. This position offers meaningful impact within a global leader focused on energy solutions and sustainability. You will help run what runs the world, shaping technologies that power critical systems.

- Identify, propose and implement innovative mechanical and thermo-hydraulic solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on development and maintenance tasks
- Develop new products and maintain existing products in production
- Apply technical knowledge within product standards and regulations
- Execute tasks with supervision ensuring compliance with specifications and quality
- Degree in Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering
- Knowledge of electromechanical and thermo-hydraulic systems; design to manufacturability
- Problem-solving and innovative thinking
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
- Technical proficiency and understanding of product standards
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Experience in product development or R&D environments preferred
- Familiarity with solid-state technology
