Data / AI Engineer – Lead / Senior

For a prestigious customer – we are looking for dedicated Data / AI Engineers (Lead Engineer and seniors) to interpret our customers’ business and technical requirements to extract value from their data using Dataiku, GCP products, and other industry‑known technologies.

In this position you will:

• Work as part of the Data & AI Factory team, supporting the customer’s data‑ops and AI projects.
• Design, build, maintain, and troubleshoot data pipelines, models, and transformations.
• Build, maintain, and troubleshoot data observability solutions to improve data quality.
• Turn data into valuable business insights and prepare custom solutions optimized for each client.
• Act as a trusted advisor for junior team members.
• Lead by example.

Note: this position may require on‑call work, including overnight and weekend availability.

What you’ll do:

• Develop and execute a strategic sales plan: target key accounts, identify opportunities, and build a strong pipeline to achieve ambitious quotas and revenue targets.
• Become a trusted advisor: conduct in‑depth needs assessments, understand client challenges, and position Devoteam as their go‑to partner for Google Cloud solutions.
• Deliver winning presentations: craft and deliver compelling sales presentations that showcase the value proposition of our Google Cloud offerings, emphasizing our expertise in professional services.
• Collaborate with experts: work closely with our technical consultants to design and propose tailored solutions that address client requirements, ensuring seamless project delivery.
• Negotiate and close deals: secure favorable terms and conditions, maximizing revenue and profitability while building long‑term client relationships.
• Stay ahead of the curve: maintain a deep understanding of the evolving Google Cloud ecosystem, including new products, services, and market trends, to provide cutting‑edge solutions.

Mid‑Level Engineer – Python/AI/Data Engineer

You’re a mid‑level engineer who enjoys breadth, is comfortable writing Python backends, curious about AI, and not afraid of data pipelines. You don’t need to be an expert in everything yet but you’re motivated to grow across all three areas. You like picking up new tools quickly, communicate well, and get things done.

The role

You’ll be working on our Managed Cloud Compliance product – a platform that collects, transforms, and reports security and compliance data from Azure, AWS, and GCP environments. Your work will span three areas:

• Python backend development – building and maintaining the services and APIs that power the platform.
• Agentic AI & AI‑assisted development – working with modern AI tooling (including Claude Code, MCP, OpenAI SDK, and similar technologies) to build intelligent, automated workflows and solutions.
• Data engineering – designing and maintaining data pipelines that turn raw cloud data into actionable compliance insights.

What you will do:

• Develop and maintain Python backend services and data pipelines.
• Build and iterate on agentic AI solutions as part of our product.
• Collect, transform, and model data from cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Collaborate with security, compliance, and platform engineers across the team.
• Contribute ideas – there’s room to shape how things are built here.

What we are looking for:

• Some exposure to data engineering concepts, pipelines, SQL, and data transformation.
• Curiosity about AI and agentic systems; hands‑on experience is a plus, not a must.
• Familiarity with at least one public cloud environment (Azure preferred).
• Good communication skills in English and Lithuanian.
• A growth mindset – you’re motivated to develop across backend, AI, and data.

Nice to have:

• Experience with data tools like Databricks or similar.
• Familiarity with AI development tools (LLM APIs, MCP, Claude Code, or similar).
