In this Network Engineer role within NTT DATA’s Managed Services, you will support a major automotive client from the Modena site, ensuring continuous service and meeting SLAs. You’ll collaborate with a global team to deliver on-site operations and incident handling, with on-call readiness outside business hours. You’ll help optimize performance, manage changes, and contribute to customer satisfaction. This is a hands‑on, cross‑functional role that blends technical execution with service delivery in a dynamic international environment.
- Daily onsite service
- Standard changes (AP, Switch, etc. add/move/uninstall) including configuration and handover to Operations
- Local troubleshooting including configuration
- Break & Fix support
- Major Change support
- Local spare parts management
- Performance testing support
- Performance tuning and optimization support
- Equipment configuration cleaning and hardening support
- Backup / DR testing support
- Reporting
- Escalating unresolved issues to Central NOC
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Team working and collaborative approach
- Eager to learn
- Good understanding of networking concepts (IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow)
- Ability to follow scripts and documented procedures
- Confidence in troubleshooting of hardware/software
- A minimum of experience in service delivery (6-12 months)
- Able to work in international environment using English (speaking and writing)
