Why join us?
Real impact – We help doctors help patients.
At scale, yet agile – 3,000+ employees, but still fast, flexible, and hands‑on.
Shape the future, sustain growth – Make a difference now and build for long‑term success.
The role
You will help shape the next phase of growth for MioDottore in Italy, one of our most important and strategically significant markets.
Italy represents the country with the biggest revenue share of Docplanner Group, and the market is entering an important phase of growth and transformation. Alongside continuing to strengthen our core marketplace and SaaS business, we are investing in several new growth opportunities across AI, payments, new products, partnerships and commercial expansion.
Your role will be to turn these opportunities into real, measurable business growth. You will combine strategic thinking with hands‑on commercial execution: understanding the business quickly, identifying where growth is being won or lost, and then improving the systems, teams and processes that drive revenue.
You will work across Sales, Product, Customer Success, Marketing, Partnerships and Finance, with a particular focus on commercial performance and new venture development. Your scope will evolve based on where the biggest opportunities are, but will include launching new revenue streams, improving sales productivity, developing new commercial models and scaling successful initiatives.
You will also own the commercial side of new venture launches: defining the go‑to‑market approach, building the right team and operating cadence, testing the model, and scaling what works.
Location: Rome, Italy (hybrid)
Team: for now, this is a senior IC role focused to launch and grow new ventures. In the future, inheriting teams may be possible based on performance, business needs/opportunities and org design.
Your Objectives and Mission
Deliver growth: contribute to 20% YoY ARR growth while protecting the health and profitability of the Italian business.
Own new ventures together with the Country Manager: turn new projects and revenue opportunities into commercially successful, scalable businesses - e.g. launching, driving adoption and revenue of Terapia, our payments products and more in Italy
Increase sales productivity: improve the output of the existing commercial engine through better structure, profiles, incentives, processes and operating cadence.
Develop new growth levers: turn opportunities across AI, payments, new products, insurance and upselling into measurable contributors to the business.
Protect marketplace health: balance commercial growth with customer value, retention and long‑term marketplace health.
Build operating rigor: create clear priorities, owners, metrics and accountability across the areas within your scope.
Work cross-functionally: bring together Sales, Product, CS, Marketing, Finance and Partnerships to move the highest‑impact opportunities forward.

5+ years in commercial, general management, strategy or GTM roles, ideally in SaaS, marketplace or B2B recurring‑revenue businesses with an SMB customer base.

Strong understanding of sales metrics, team structures, incentives, forecasting, productivity and rep‑level performance.
Experience leading through organisational change, including hiring, coaching, restructuring and difficult people decisions.
