Overview

In this role you will lead on-site installation, commissioning and testing of LV/MV power-system equipment, ensuring full operation per project requirements. You will collaborate with internal teams and partner suppliers to validate performance, support after-sales activities, and generate detailed commissioning and final status reports. You will also adapt plans, tune inverters, and troubleshoot software/electrical diagrams to meet customer needs while promoting a safe, collaborative work culture.

Responsabilità
  • Manage on-site installation, commissioning and testing of LV/MV power-system equipment and demonstrate full operation to the customer
  • Participate in equipment testing at Danieli Automation facilities or partner/supplier facilities
  • Support after-sales technical activities on-site or remotely
  • Evaluate impact of modifications on required working hours and re-plan resources
  • Parametrize and tune inverters according to technical docs and customer needs
  • Write and test code per technical descriptions and flowcharts
  • Analyze and report on project issues and coordinate troubleshooting with specialists
  • Produce commissioning progress reports and final plant status reports
  • Generate and manage project punch lists and close points within time estimates
  • Create as-built documentation for software and hardware
  • Participate in lessons-learned meetings to improve equipment and engineering
  • Work according to safety rules and company policies
  • Collaborate with site managers, supervisors and customer managers to ensure project success

Requisiti fondamentali
  • Knowledge of drive systems (SINAMICS SM150, ABB ACS 6000, ABB DRIVE ACS 800–880, ABB DRIVE DCS 800–880, SIEMENS Sinamics 120, SIEMENS 6RA80)
  • CODESYS programming language
  • Preferable experience in steel industry and metallurgical plants (Hot Rolling, Cold Rolling, Melt shop)
  • Knowledge of motors, transformers and power relays principles
  • Control techniques knowledge; programming experience is a plus
  • Electronic or Electrical graduate (high school or university)
  • English language proficiency
  • Availability to stay on site for at least 6 months a year
