MSL Neurology

Location: (Lazio, Toscana, Abruzzo, Umbria, Molise, Marche)

Reports To: Therapeutical Area Lead Neurology

Summery

The MSL Neuro will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with healthcare professionals (HCPs) in the assigned areas (Lazio, Toscana, Abruzzo, Umbria, Molise, Marche) in order to create a better understanding of disease and treatments awareness, providing clinical and scientific support for KOLs, and providing high level medical to medical information on gMG and NMOSD. She/He will be responsible also for some office activities supporting Field Medical advisor Neuro and Medical Affairs Manager Neuro. 20% office based activities – 80% field medical activities.

Main responsibilities:

Develop, establish and maintain relationships with KOLs and a high level of scientific engagement to create a better understanding of treatments and disease awareness Provide clinical and scientific support for KOLs, maintaining high quality medical to medical interactions and managing medical information requests. Provide medical information to internal and external customers, working in a cross functional environment Keep up to date on scientific and clinical developments in neurology: gMG and NMOSD Ensure planning and implementation of research projects for the assigned products according to corporate and local policies Support Italian centers to national/international clinical development research and cross collaboration with Clinical Ops Support Medical Advisor on local studies: planning of study protocols, ensuring accurate data management and analysis, preparing final study reports and ensuring publication of data timely Provide high quality support to the Regulatory Affairs Dept in the definition and review of the product registration dossier and other documents Provide support to Marketing Dept to guarantee the high scientific and educational standard in the relevant activities (e.g. preparation and review of promotional material; planning and organization of scientific events, review of promo materials) Manage all activities and Account relationship according with Company Values, Code of Conduct, Guidelines/Internal procedures and Italian legislation

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

Scientific/Pharmacology & Pharmacy DegreeUnderstanding of medical role and ability to cross collaborate with internal stakeholders and functions: sales, marketing, access, etc. Knowledge of legislation relevant to pharmaceutical industry Ability to manage incoming data and/or requests in a timely manner and escalate when appropriate Strong leadership capabilities Excellent interpersonal skills Experience in relationship and stakeholder management experience Proficiency in English and Italian Requirements considered a plus:Medical degree or Qualified Doctor in NeurologyPrevious experience in the medical affairs as MSL in Neurology or Rare diseasesPhD in Neuroscience
