Pricing Specialist – Automotive Spare Parts
As a Pricing Specialist, the Resource will collaborate closely with various departments to create and implement effective pricing strategies for our business-to-business (B2B) operations in the spare parts segment.
Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement pricing strategies that align with market demands and enhance profitability while maintaining competitiveness in the after sales spare parts market.
· Collaborate with sales, purchasing, finance, B.I. and product teams to ensure pricing strategies are aligned with company objectives and support sales growth targets for spare parts.
· Monitor and analyze pricing performance for after sales spare parts, identify areas for improvement, and recommend adjustments to pricing strategies as necessary.
· Create and maintain pricing models, tools, and databases specific to spare parts to support pricing decisions and provide accurate and timely pricing information.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate pricing effectiveness, identify pricing opportunities, and develop pricing initiatives for the after sales spare parts segment.
· Stay up-to-date with industry trends, developments, and best practices related to pricing in the automotive powertrain after sales spare parts sector.
Requirements
· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field. A Master's degree would be a plus.
· Proven experience in pricing analysis and strategy development, preferably in the automotive industry as a powertrain Tier 1 supplier, with a specific focus on after sales spare parts.
· Strong analytical skills, with the ability to leverage data to drive pricing decisions and evaluate pricing performance for spare parts.
· Proficient in using pricing tools, databases, and Microsoft Office (Excel - Powerpoint).
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
· Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
· Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
· Fluent in speaking and writing Italian and English language.
· Knowledge of market research methodologies and techniques in the after sales spare parts sector and familiarity with the automotive industry, specifically in the powertrain after sales spare parts segment, is preferred.
