Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
This is a full-time position as an Independent Contractor. As a traveling Country Sales Manager Computer/IT Hardware and Electronic Components Sales, you will be responsible for selling computer hardware and electronic components to customers throughout your country. This is a remote position that requires frequent travel to customer sites in your city and/or country.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers in your country
- Travel to customer sites to conduct sales presentations, product demonstrations, and negotiations
- Achieve and exceed sales targets for computer hardware and electronic components
- Provide expert advice and support to customers regarding product selection, technical specifications, and pricing
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product management, and customer service, to ensure customer satisfaction and success
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new sales opportunities
- Interface with Vyrians internal trading, purchasing, marketing, and operations teams.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred. Also, accept other degrees with sufficient relative experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales of computer hardware and/or electronic components
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware and electronic component products and their applications
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in English and Italian, both written and verbal
- Ability to travel frequently
- Valid driver's license and passport
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
Preferred Qualifications:
- Existing network of contacts in the computer hardware and electronic components industry
- Experience working in a remote sales position
We offer a fixed monthly retainer + sales commission, and a long-term/permanent contractor agreement.
