Job Description

As a Reliability Engineer, you will be stationed at the client’s site in Priolo Gargallo Syracussa, Italy), where you will play a pivotal role in executing and maintaining the established partnership agreement.


Your primary responsibilities involve direct coordination, scheduling, and active participation in troubleshooting product performance issues and application-specific challenges. This role demands independent and intricate evaluations of seals and equipment, coupled with comprehensive recommendations.


You will be required to travel as necessary to fulfil your duties and collaborate directly with customers.

Duties & Responsibilities Reviews customer applications and makes specific recommendations. Troubleshoots specific customer applications and analyzes, evaluates, and rectifies seal operation problems and failures. Improves MTBR and reduces material costs. Reduces inventory by establishing standards for reduction, minimizing variances found in the physical inventory and optimizing inventory levels. Communicates orally and in writing with customers, company personnel, and vendors providing counseling, recommendations, and technical assistance. May include making both technical and commercial presentations to customers or management. Provides training to customer staff aligned with Reliability objectives. Undertakes regular Plant surveys Assists and directs development of customer seal standardization programs. Also, assist developing inventory management programs that are to be implemented by customers. Solves problems on existing installations pro-actively. Negotiates with customers and sales personnel regarding material changes or modifications of customer equipment, seal, or auxiliary equipment. The Individual

• An engineering degree is preferred but not essential.
• Strong background in Service/Maintenance engineering activities for the Oil & Gas/Petrochemical markets is highly advantageous.
• Familiarity and experience working on-site in the Oil & Gas/Petrochemical environment.
• Fluent in both English and Italian is essential.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills, with a proactive and analytical approach to addressing challenges.
