Responsibilities

SGSS has been present in Italy since September 2006 through a dedicated Italian Bank, SGSS ., one of the main players in the Securities Services' industry that covers all SGSS businesses for its two segments of clients: Financial Institutions & Brokers and Asset Managers & Insurance. Thanks to over 500 employees based in Milan and Turin, SGSS ensures a daily support to over 300 clients. Our clients are institutional investors (insurance companies and pension funds), asset managers, financial intermediaries (brokers, investments companies).

Mission: 

As an IT Developer, you will deliver top quality software to all stakeholders and guarantee clients’ satisfaction.

Tasks and responsibilities:

Take in charge items of the backlog, delivering good quality software in time Take care of all the software related aspects, from development and documenting to monitoring and fix the production Contribute to the specific “Chapter Dev” to improve the quality of the standards and collaborate effectively with all team members Strictly adhere to policies and security rules Embed in daily work security by design and ESG practices such as green coding

Profile required

Studies & experience:

Bachelor’s degree in information and communication technology or equivalent

Language skills:

Italian: C2 English: B2

Technical, operational & Soft skills:

Strong JAVA language knowledge, design patterns and spring framework Good knowledge of general databases, particularly SQLServer and PostgreSQL Work with shared source code using tools like GIT, JIRA, Jenkins Knowledge about containers and orchestrators like Kubernetes Technical skills to face new technologies and frameworks.
