System Engineer

As a System Engineer in Santena, you will have the opportunity to work with the most powerful carmaker companies, in the electronics development working in an international and multicultural environment.

Mission:

Automotive System Engineer is accountable for System, Software, Functional Safety and Cyber deliverables in order to ensure the success of the project.

He/she is responsible to analyze the Customer Product requirements and allocate them to the respective subsystem providing the acceptance.

He/she is also responsible to perform/support System Validation and support issues analysis

Responsibilities

Analyze and discuss Customer requirements (SW,HW, Mechanical, Safety and Cyber)

Manage System specifications

Act as a facilitator and mediator for the system team and stakeholders; 

Ensuring a common understanding of the system goals, system scope, requirements and architecture.

Manage System Development plan 

Daily management of SW Supplier tracking the SW Implementation Maturity

Support Verification & Validation Test team

Support Project Request for Quotation (Safety and Cyber Impact)

Daily management of all R&D contributors, dedicated or not

Technical Skills

Vector tools (CanOe, CAPL coding, CanDb++)

Vector VT System (HIL Automated test bench)

Experience with Network bus: CAN, CAN-FD, LIN and LVDS (nice to have)

Automotive Diagnostics according to ISO15765

ASPICE process

Compliance Matrix and Document Tracking List

IBM Doors, Polarium or similar Requirements Management Tools

Automotive Spice Process standard

Knowledge of Functional Safety (ISO26262)

Knowledge of Cyber security

Use of Laboratory Instruments such Multimeter, Oscilloscope and Power Supply

Desired skills and experience:

Engineering Degree.

Experience: 3 to 5 years in similar roles in the automotive field

Fluent English
