Your Role

Capgemini is seeking a dynamic and ambitious professional to lead an international cloud project.


About the Role:

We are looking for a Cloud Architect for a multi-year initiative supporting research, development, and innovation activities, including first industrial application, across a broad part of the value chain of advanced cloud and edge computing technologies. The goal is to promote digital and green transition.

Key Responsibilities:
•    Lead the architectural design and implementation of cloud solutions
•    Manage administrative aspects of major hyperscalers (IAM, Organization)
•    Design integration of software components with GCP/AWS/Azure APIs
•    Coordinate a team of developers to deliver required components
•    Ensure best practices in cloud architecture and security are followed
 

Your Profile

Required Skills and Qualifications:
•    Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields
•    Minimum 5 years of experience in IT, with a particular focus on cloud architectures and related authentication systems, distributed technologies (especially experience with hybrid environments and their network-level management)
•    At least 2 years of experience as a technical leader and/or Project Manager on cloud projects
•    Experience in native Kubernetes design and development
•    Knowledge of scripting and programming languages such as Python, Go, or Java
•    Familiarity with DevOps and GitOps practices and cloud infrastructure automation
•    Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert)
•    Strong background in administrative management of major hyperscalers (IAM, Organization)
•    Direct experience with projects on cloud platforms
•    Expertise in hyperscaler platforms with the ability to manage solutions that interwork with various clouds
•    Ability to design the integration of software components with GCP/AWS/Azure APIs
•    Capability to coordinate a team of developers for required components
