To expand our R&D department of Surgical and Modality Displays (customer specific healthcare development/OEM), we are looking for an embedded software / firmware developer.

Are you driven to assure high quality medical devices? Do you like to deep dive into source code, implement new features and debug issues?

Key responsibilities


• You develop embedded software, based on customer or internal specification product requirements, from architecture to initial product testing, following Software Lifecycle V-Model for medical devices.
• You manage projects, set up a timeline and manage the schedule vs. other concurrent development activities.
• You maintain our existing firmware due to product changes and /or specification updates.
• You prepare technical documentation related to the firmware and to its application within the product.
• You promote and develop ideas or methodologies for optimization and evolution of the products and services of business development.

Requirements

You have a solid experience in the development of firmware for microcontrollers, DSP, PIC 8/16/32 bit, ARM. You have excellent knowledge of C in embedded programming field. Knowledge of MFC, C ++ and Python is considered a plus. You know interfaces such as PWM, I2C, SPI, RS, USB. You have experience with or knowledge of version control systems, such as SVN or GIT. It would be great if you have knowledge of laboratory instrumentation, such as multimeter and oscilloscope. Considered a plus: experience with video processing, continuous integration & continuous development methodologies, IEC medical device regulations (Class B), Atlassian tools (JIRA for bug tracking / Confluence for documentation)
