Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and engaging trainer to lead our Public Relations and Media Skills course. Designed for professionals aiming to strengthen their PR expertise and master media strategies, this course focuses on the evolving role of media and communication in building and maintaining a positive public image. As a Trainer, you will empower participants with practical skills for effective PR management, from strategic campaign planning to leveraging social media for brand engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth sessions on core public relations principles, emphasising the evolving demands of digital and traditional media.
  • Teach participants to navigate media relationships, handle crisis communication, and build a resilient public image.
  • Guide participants in developing effective PR strategies for relationship building, audience analysis, and reputation management.
  • Demonstrate techniques for engaging in interviews, press conferences, and social media outreach, ensuring cohesive and impactful messaging.
  • Provide insights into PR in various sectors, including corporate, finance, public, and non-profit, to align strategies with specific organisational goals.

RequirementsProven experience in delivering training in public relations, communications, or related fields.
Certified trainer or experienced public speaker with a strong command of digital and traditional media tools.
Comprehensive knowledge of public relations strategies, media relations, and audience engagement techniques.
Familiarity with the unique PR needs of different sectors and the ability to tailor content to diverse industry settings.
Expertise in social media strategies, audience analysis, and content creation.
Strong communication and organisational skills to ensure effective knowledge transfer.
Excellent presentation skills, adaptable to audiences across diverse professional levels.
Ability to handle multiple learning styles and ensure engagement through real-world application examples.
Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel), and Google Workspace.
Experience with technologies and best practices for instructional manuals and teaching platforms.
Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels and ages.

Requirements
