Key responsibilities for this role include:

The IT Director/Senior Manager represents a very exciting opportunity to be part of Viatris Developed Markets IT Commercial business facing Team supporting Viatris Italy. She/He will work in collaboration & partnership with Viatris IT groups, and local IT teams, in capturing market IT demand, understanding Commercial customer’s needs, and transforming these key commercial needs into solutions, that are aligned with affiliate objectives. Improve the effectiveness and efficiency of our operations and supports the achievement of established goals, evolving our business model, and creating new efficient ways of doing things, aligned with global and regional strategy. Understands Marketing and Commercial Customers operational needs and strategic direction (Regional and Local), priorities and objectives and ensure that customer expectations are met through delivery of services or projects; through collaborative efforts, allowing clients to achieve their goals. Drives Design, development, and delivery of Digital projects and technology solutions to support the achievement of Marketing and Commercial Operational needs, supporting strategic decision-making, business goals and specific agreed requirements, ensuring customer expectations and needs are met. Works closely and builds strong working relationships with Market Management Team Leads, Marketing and Commercial Operations teams and supporting functions.  Identifies opportunities where technology can build competitive advantage, internal efficiencies and provides game-changing innovation, and new ways to achieve business needs. Works with service providers and customers to deliver solutions/projects effectively and efficiently. Analyzes business requests to determine how best to support creation of a successful solution and makes sure these are translated into high value technology solutions, process improvement and optimization. Collaborates with other IT Groups, Global Cluster Lead and Global Technology Leadership to develop and execute technology strategy, and resolve country-related technology issues. Ensures business unit sponsorship endorsement and agreements from SMEs on all initiatives. Manages and sets stakeholder expectations.

The minimum qualifications for this role are:

Extensive IT project management experience demonstrated through multiple successful assignments leading teams, developing strategies, and executing programs/projects. Similar level demonstrating sustained success partnering/guiding clients at Executive levels Domain knowledge gained in supporting Sales and Marketing operations for specific projects/assignments Strong ability to engage team members and cross-functional teams to deliver on time and within budget. Experience working with service providers to deliver solutions/projects effectively and efficiently. Strong customer relationship and stakeholder management skills Proven ability to manage financial goals, both in own area and in support of a larger entity Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading and writing English is required.
