Hairdresser

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Hairdresser role at Hotel Cipriani to provide excellent and personalised guest experiences. This is a part time position (30 hours a week) from June to September 30th.

We are looking for an energetic, experienced customer service professional with excellent interpersonal skills, and passion for service and hospitality. 

The Hairdresser reports to the SPA Manager.

Among the hairdresser's main duties, tasks, and responsibilities:

• Color and cut hair. Offer various hairstyles and colors to suit customer needs and their style
• Give hair care tips to guests and advise them about the haircut or hairstyle that will suit in different occasions and events in their life
• Answer any question asked by guests and give recommendation to them
• Provide cutting and styling services to guests with all the necessary accessories, such as combs, brushes, and other accessories that are needed
• Sell hair care products
• Keep all areas of workshop clean and neat, such as hair washing area, cutting area, and styling area, and stock room
• Regularly inspect the products available on hairdo so that they will never go out of stock or fail in quality basis.
• A key duty of the hairdresser is working closely with SPA therapists, makeup artists and nail technicians at the SPA, and helping them provide a complete package of services to their guests.

Requirements

• Knowledge in hairdressing and hair-care products
• Ability to attend to guests and make hairdo for them according to the hair-type of the guests
• Experience in high number of hairdressing or styling salon
• Must know how to make all hairstyles that are mentioned in the job description and able to give suggestions to guests if they don’t like anything in their hairstyling or they have any other way of wanting it done, so that they would not leave dissatisfied
• Ability to manage the haircutting station
• Good interpersonal skills, communication skill, and customer relation skills is necessary since they must be able to solve guests’ problems immediately, especially if there are special requests
• Ability to keep record of stocks available, with their products and accessories available in order to make their guests happy on any given day or occasion
• Good English and Italian, French is preferral
• At least 3 to 5 years experience in high-end saloons/SPA

Candidates must be eligible to work in Italy at the moment of application
