Atlas Copco Italy, is looking for a new Application Project Engineer within Industrial Air Business Line.
Your Mission
To lead the process of offering, supporting the selling and supplying engineered compressed gas systems in compliance with customer and application requirements, making deviations and comments where required.To support customer center selling to all Industry segments.To ensure that the project proposals offered meet customer requirements while realising a maximum consolidated profitability.To lead the process of design, procurement and supplying for engineered compressed air&gas systems in compliance with customer and application requirements, making Customer handling where required.To apply superior project and relevant product knowledge to handle project technical and operative management for Engineered Compressed Air&Gas System solutions in all product portfolios including current compression systems, gas purification systems, packaging systems, and future industrial gas systems and biogas upgrading systems.Interacts & cooperates with end customers, Atlas Copco Production Centers, the regional Application groups, the Systems Group and various qualified vendors.Your responsibilities
Prioritize the activities provided by the Engineering Manager in conjunction with the Industrial Air business line.Support Customer Center sales channel by evaluating the technical/commercial feasibility of a tender and help to clarify customer inquiries and specifications.Review complete request for quotations including all applicable specifications and prepare detailed exceptions as needed.Review at Order meeting the complete request for quotations including all applicable specifications and prepare detailed exceptions as needed.Provide the entire scope of supply, define specific product & project management strategy to secure the business and the invoicing; complete, independently, technical and commercial evaluations of any extra activity to provide professional job handling, costing report details and consolidated gross profit calculations.Prepare and lead detailed technical documentation and Customer meetings & and bid clarification meetings.Provide technical specification for equipment and service procurement to complete the order scope of supply.Lead detailed hand over meetings with the project engineer/project execution team.Liaise between the customer center, System Group entities, qualified vendors and end customers during the entire "life" of the project.Keep a running detailed project log current with necessary details to track quoting activity, status and results. Review log regularly with regional team and Systems Group entities’ management.Support the Business Line in training of stagers and provide consistent training technical contentsCoordinate the drafting activities and prioritiesTake responsibility for CGP% and proposal hit rate.Keep CRM uptatedWe are looking for…
…a Graduated in Engineering disciplines (Mechanic or Electric), preferably with an experience as a Project Engineer or similar role.
We are a multinational company... so English is mandatory, both spoken and written.
