ROLE MISSION
The E-merchandiser's mission is to curate the online product assortment and to optimize the user experience, through data driven insights. The role is critical to drive client engagement, conversion and retention. In addition, the E-merchandiser supervises the order management service level and the customer care, and supports with the omni-channel activities, SEO and CRO, adapting to market trends to improve the overall shopping experience.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Managing product digital content creation, ensuring accurate and appealing product descriptions and images, maintaining up-to-date product information Managing the e-merchandising strategies, analyzing and interpreting sales data to optimize the assortment, the ranking strategies, reduce returns, the Newsletter and Digital Marketing calendar Supervise order management and support customer care operations to maintain high satisfaction levels Support SEO, CRO, the UX evolution and the launch of new digital initiatives analyzing the customer experience and ensuring the optimal product presentation Adapt to market trends and latest compliance regulations analyzing competitors and the industry evolution, adjusting e-merchandising strategies to align with the evolving market requestsManage the e-merchandising strategies and activities:
Ensure timely and qualitative publication of collections and capsules liaising with digital marketing, merchandising and supply chain, and according to deliveries and brand strategies Continuously improve the e-commerce conversion rate, by optimizing the customer journey elements, such as navigation, “similar” and “match with” products, other up-sell and cross-sell modules, products ranking and homepage structure Analyse sales and stock levels to ensure the optimal inventory allocation for the e-commerce business Support the planning of the digital marketing calendar by defining the best timing to advertise the product categories and developing the product selections for newsletters and social media Supervise the timely weekly delivery of contents and assets for the newsletters, the brioni.com front-end updates and the other digital marketing activities Perform returns analysis and propose constructive actions Supervise omni-channel activities, such as reserve in store, pick-ups, alteration, and the promotion of services via web, as Bespoke, Trunk Shows and other initiatives of e-retail Produce periodic reports on the e-merchandising KPIs and make informed decisions Evaluate and recommend market opportunities to drive substantial growth, propose special eventsContents creation and management:
Write compelling products descriptions liaising with merchandising and production managers Ensure the displayed assets are compliant with the brand guidelines and the latest regulation Work with the Brand product management systems (PIM, DAM and PLM) to update the products contents and gather the relevant information from other departments Support the shootings of e-commerce products, defining the looks with the merchandising team, assisting on set and ensuring the final quality of the imagesSupervise the customer experience and the service level:
Supervise the order management to ensure the timely order fulfilment, liaising with Operations and Retail Support on customer service cases Onboard the stores and the customer care on digital launches and initiatives Coordinate with internal departments ensuring the implementation of an omnichannel vision across the website and digital channelsQualifications :
Master degree in Fashion Merchandising, Marketing, Business, or a related field Proven experience in e-commerce merchandising, CMS use, preferably in menswear Strong understanding of the online retail landscape and customer shopping behaviour Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools Knowledge of SEO, web analytics (Google Analytics), and e-commerce platforms Strong collaboration skills and keen attention to detail Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Passion for menswear and fashion industry trendsJob Type
