Vado Port System, also known as Vado Gateway, is made up of two well integrated terminals: Reefer Terminal and its new semi-automated container terminal.

With the launch of the new platform in 2019, Vado Ligure became the first semi-automated port in Italy with a fully automated gate and stacking yard.

Vado Gateway is one of the most competitive terminals in Europe, combining innovation, automation, intermodal connectivity, and the ability to offer fully integrated and complex services such as cold storage, project cargo, Ro-Ro and intermodal transport.

We are currently looking for a Gate & Cargo Controller who will join our team based in Vado Ligure.

The role:

The Gate and Cargo Controller is responsible for ensuring that containers coming in and out of the terminal are in compliance with requirements and have the necessary authorizations. In order to perform this check, automation or OCR are used. The Controller updates TOS with requests of ancillary services from internal customers and manages the cars traffic.

TYhis The Controller reports to the Gate Manager based in Vado Ligure.

What we are looking for:

a high level of planning and organizational skills; general knowledge of planning process; proficiency in desktop computer software programs, such as MS Office
