Intraday Power Trader

Illumia Spa is a leading power and gas trading company that has a strong presence in Europe, with further plans to globally expand our business.
We are looking for a motivated team player, who thrives while working under pressure and in fast paced environment, who is not afraid of being challenged, and who above all wants to learn and develop.
To be successful in this role, you must have a flair for numbers and logical reasoning, you must be able to tackle and quickly solve problems.

La posizione:
Se deciderai di condividere la tua energia con noi, sarai inserito all’interno della Business Unit Renweables di Illumia, in un contesto aziendale dinamico ed in rapida evoluzione, che si occupa della costruzione del portafoglio progetti e della gestione dei progetti già esistenti in ambito energetico.

To do list (what will you do):

Trade power across our active intraday markets in Europe; Contribute in create and execute trading strategies; Taking active part in developing algorithmic trading models and quantitative models; Obtaining expert understanding of the key drivers of the power market; Conduct market analysis for active and new markets; Providing open and honest feedback;

Required experience (also known as hard skills):

A Mathematical / Physic / Statistical / Finance or similar degree; At least 1 year experience in an intraday power trading role; Good knowledge of Excel, Python, VBA; Communication skills and ability to work in team;

Soft Skills (quelle che preferiamo):

Accuracy, timeliness and attention to details; Strong interest in trading, and result-driven attitude; Able to work well under pressure; Communication skills and ability to work in a team; Excellent organisational and work planning skills;
