THE ROLE
New Guards Group is looking for a Junior Financial Controller. Reporting directly to the Senior FP&A Manager as part of the Corporate FP&A team. You will be responsible for the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reporting in collaboration with crucial departments, monitoring results against budget/forecast, and providing both strategic insights and in-depth analysis.
WHAT YOU’LL DO You will prepare a budget and business plan with monitoring responsibility for the different entities of the group; You will support in developing periodic presentations and decks for top management on monthly and quarterly results; You will monitor expenses, investigating discrepancies with the budget; You will perform a rolling forecast process for all the entities of the group and at a consolidated level; You will work on month-end financial reporting activities. WHO YOU ARE You have 1-2 years of experience in controlling, consulting, or in a similar role You have a BA in Economics disciplines Previous experience in the fashion industry will be considered a plus You have excellent knowledge of English (written and spoken) You have knowledge of the main MS Office tools (excellent Excel and PowerPoint proficiency) You have previous financial modeling experience (budgeting and monitoring) You have strong analytical skills You can use Navision / Qlik You have the ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional partners You have a hands-on approach and willingness to work in a team REWARDS & BENEFITS Great compensation package (in consideration of your professional experience) Fixed-term contract Lunch tickets Discounts on all NGG brands and partners including FARFETCH and Browns Brand new headquarters located in the centre of Milan EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES STATEMENT New Guards Group is an equal opportunities employer ensuring that all applicants are treated equally and fairly throughout our recruitment process.
