Job Purpose

To develop products for EMEA markets as part of an integrated project team, embracing a strong project management discipline and facing technical challenges in order to meet the future needs .  Specific focus on development activity in tire design and industrialization . 

Job Description

Main Accountabilities

· Contributes to the technical development of tires by participating in technical teams.

· Contributes to the process of benchmarking, designing prototypes, planning and analyzing of test results, and preparing technical documentation. 

· Participates in defining engineering approaches and in planning and scheduling work.

· Prepares appropriate documentation for assigned projects.

· Provides his contribution to the preparation of Technical Meetings with the Customer and BSEMEA functions.

· Manages assigned tasks with high level of proficiency and autonomy.

Working relationships

· All Functions within the Technical Center

· Bridgestone Corporate Functions

· Manufacturing plants in Europe

· Technical Centers in Japan and USA

Technical skills

· University : degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Aeronautical, Automotive) 

· Computer : Very good MS Office package knowledge, good PRO-E capabilities

· Digital mindset : Ability to develop and/or apply new digital tools/software to change business or processes

· Learning and Change Agility

· Other : Basics of Material characterization, Basic knowledge of Tire construction nice to have

· Language : Fluency in English, German/French nice to have
