We are looking for a Hardware Electronic Engineer to join our team in Umbertide, Italy.


What will you be doing?

  • HW Design for Automotive Application
  • Electronic Design for Low/High Voltage Electronics applications (Schematics; Design review; Support to Layout design)
  • Creation of HW technical documentations (HW requirements; HW design descriptions; HSI (HW-SW Interface)
  • R&D Test Activities
  • Verification and test (HW building block test; HW requirements test; Environmental test; EMC test)
  • HW Technical Documentation (Test Plan; Test Strategy; Test Reports)
  • Support to Q&R for Quality & Reliability Analysis
  • Support to Production
  • Cooperation within worldwide SolarEdge e-Mobility departments and SolarEdge Companies.

  • Academic Degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
  • Experience of 3 to 7 years of electronics design and test (preference for Automotive industry)
  • Analogue and digital electronic design and test (preference for automotive application)
  • Good knowledge and skill in OrCAD, PCB Editor, Spice simulators.
  • Good knowledge and ability to use laboratory instruments and tools.
  • Knowledge about Design Validation process
  • Quality & Reliability knowledge basics (ISO26262 knowledge basics)
  • Italian business fluent
  • English business fluent
  • Willingness to cooperate with intercultural world-wide Engineering teams
