An opportunity has become available for a Photonics Characterisation Engineer to join a VC-backed quantum photonics startup based in Milan.

As a Photonics Characterisation Engineer you will have a number of responsibilities that include;
  • Create optical test setups using lasers and lenses
  • Characterise photonics integrated circuits 
  • Test development and automation
  • Data analysis from PICs measurements 
To be considered for the Photonics Characterisation Engineer vacancy you must have:
  • PhD or 2-3 years industry experience in experimental photonics
  • Python experience for analysing data and automating equipment
  • The desire to be hands-on and be a key player in a cutting-edge startup
