Support the improvement and standardization of Customer R&D engineering processes related to on-board SW development and to over the air SW update in compliance with UNECE R156 standard adopting innovative methods and tools.

Responsabilities

Single Point Of Contact for Customer R&D teams regarding R&D engineering toolchainUnderstand current processes implemented by Customer engineering technical R&D teams and support the standardization at company level through process improvement actions involving R&D engineering tools, processes, methodologies and workflowsTracking and governance of R&D engineering tools used in all phases of SW development lifecycle especially for internally developed SW (e.g. DevOps, CI/CD pipeline, etc.)Propose improvement actions on R&D engineering toolchain and on its implementationSupport in the selection of new commercial IT tools used for R&D engineering activities to be integrated within Customer internal toolchainDesign of the application architectures of R&D engineering tools in compliance with the Customer standardized processes defined at company levelAdministration and proper configuration of IT tools used for R&D engineering activities. o Support in integration of different IT tools and in building automations (e.g. information exchange between different R&D engineering tools, traceability, tool interfaces, etc.)Participation to periodical meeting with Customer stakeholders in which improvement solution proposed are discussed and main technical issues are reported

Required Skills

Basic knowledge of UNECE R156 standardBasic knowledge of main IT infrastructures, architectures and application logicsPrevious experience in Automotive on-board SW development activitiesPrevious experience in administration, management and customization of IT tools used for R&D engineering activitiesExperience in managing the integration between R&D engineering tools provided by different vendors and in writing scripts for the automation of mutual synchronization of information between them according to predefined strategies (e.g. Python scripts)Knowledge of DevOps methodologies and CI/CD pipelines. o Knowledge of main IT tools used for R&D engineering activities (e.g. Git, GitLab, GitHub, Bitbucket, Sourcetree, MATLAB, Simulink, Stateflow, Jira, Confluence, Polarion, etc.)Basic knowledge of A-SPICE standard (nice to have)Excellent knowledge of English language both written and spoken
