Intralogistics Commissioning Engineer

The KION Group is on its way to becoming the only true global player and market leader in the field of automated and robotized intralogistics solutions and products. Due to expansion of the Intralogistics team, we are currently looking for a Project Engineer Realization to join our team.

The Project Engineer is responsible for all technical aspects in the realization phase, from “handover from sales” to “handover to service”: technical clarification, review concept design, detail engineering, review technical system risk & safety assessment.

Role Purpose:

• Guide and coordinate the detail engineering during the overall execution cycle

• Support the Project Manager during customer meetings and presentations

• Working closely with the Project Manager to facilitate cross functional review meetings

• Ensuring that technical subcontract specification and technical liaison are completed

• Coordination of specifications and results on customer site

• Serves as main coordinator for subcontracted engineering resources

• Ensuring design integrity across the overall execution cycle (covering mechanical, controls and software) and in-house factory acceptance testing

• Monitor and validate sub-system tests, including third party suppliers

• Review and updating the technical system risk & safety assessment

Tasks and Qualifications:

Who Are We Looking For:

Master’s degree in engineering Previous experience in the role or similar Experiences with Programming Languages like Java, C++, C#, Python Knowledge of API based on REST or SOAP technology Basis on Networking IT Literate – MS Office Confident communicator to all levels of stakeholder both internally (e.g., Directors) and externally (e.g., customers) Analytical and problem solving skills are among your strengths You are able to plan, organize and document multiple project activities Advanced knowledge in written and spoken English Availability for travel in Italy up to 50% of time
