We are looking for a Software Engineer to produce scalable software solutions. You’ll be part of a cross-functional team responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment.

As a Software Engineer, you should be comfortable with front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks, and third-party libraries. You should also be a team player with a knack for visual design and utility. In AIKO, you will mainly work on the productization process of our prototype applications, covering the entire deployment lifecycle, from software design to UI/UX design.

Tasks

  • Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions
  • Design client-side and server-side architecture
  • Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications
  • Write effective APIs
  • Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
  • Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
  • Create security and data protection settings
  • Build features and applications with a mobile responsive design
  • Write technical documentation
  • Work with data scientists and analysts to improve software
Requirements

  • Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g. C#, C/C++, Python, Java) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Node.js)
  • Familiarity with databases (e.g. PGSQL, MongoDB, CouchDB)
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., docker, containerd)
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes management and its more common components (e.g., ingresses, deployment, pod, storage class)
  • Knowledge of architectural style and protocol for building web services (e.g. REST API, gRPC, WebSocket etc)
  • Good scripting and programming languages (e.g., Bash, Python, Go)
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Organizational skills
  • An analytical mind
  • Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role
  • Familiarity with common stacks
Preferred Experience

  • Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. Javascript, React, Redux, Angular)
  • Master Degree in Computer Science, Statistics or relevant field
  • Good understanding of networking
  • Knowledge of Terraform, Ansible, Helm and GitOps
  • Knowledge of the Electron framework
  • Familiarity with UI/UX design
  • Great attention to detail
