Temporary position.

As a Sales Engineer, you will play a vital role in driving sales efforts for our Strategic Business Unit Controls & Software, focusing on the Italian market. Your primary objective will be to assist in reaching our sales, bookings, and strategic targets for designated product lines and services. This will involve frequent interaction with OEMs, system integrators, EPCs, and end-users, requiring you to spend substantial time on the road visiting clients. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Actively support the colleagues in day-to-day activities such as: new quotes and revision, tools update (including CRM SFDC), bid documents analysis and request for ITO (inquiry to order) support, delivery check.

• Support the colleagues in sorting out customer related issues from lead management to receipt of enquiry and to the close of sale. 

• Get ready and arrange customers visit to support the promotion and selling of entire product portfolio and services. 

• Drive continuously the improvement of customer happiness by understanding, presenting, and implementing solutions to their needs, where fast answers and timely actions make the difference. 

• Develop own competences in Emerson Controls & Systems basket products and solutions in order to assist colleagues by identifying the best solution for customer application and become more and more skilled and independent in the technical solution. 

• Identify new business opportunities (industries, applications, customers), convert them into action plans and establish measures with Sales for success.

• Develop proficiencies to held training session to customers on Emerson Controls & Systems Products

•Interact internally in Emerson with Application Engineer, Product managers, Other BUs colleagues, customer care, supply chain and marketing to provide feedback on market, or customer’s needs and dynamics.

• Observe the “Business Ethics” and “Procedures” stipulated by Emerson (. Trade compliance, Data Management, Bribery).

For This Role, You Will Need:

Have High school studies or Engineering degree: High school studies- Preferred in Control Systems / Computer Science / Electrical / Electronics / IT / Computer Programming Engineering degree - Industrial Automation Engineering  Validated advanced PC skills required (MS Office - Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Be committed, self-motivated, results driven, fast and flexible in learning.  Ability to work in a team and independently. Be a great teammate willing to work with other salespeople and different functions in the region and globally. Language knowledge: Italian & English (speaking & writing) Willing to travel. Curiosity and critical/practical demeanor

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: 

A proven knowledge of PLC programming environment and HMI Scada software. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
