The Automotive Products Group in Johnson Electric provides innovative motion and electrification solutions to over 70 different applications inside the latest Internal Combustion Engine vehicles, Hybrid vehicles and All-Electric vehicles. To further develop our Powertrain Cooling Business Unit Automotive Product Group we are looking for a Project Manager to join the Program Management team in Asti, Italy.
Your responsibilities:
Manage internal projects to improve profitability of the Business Unit (e.g.: implement cost reduction activities, execute Product Line VAVE plans.)
Manage customer projects starting from the RFQ phase until successful in roduction in serial production
Act as the main contact point for customers and cross-functional teams in the given project
Drive the project timeline to achieve internal and customer milestones
Work in close collaboration with Engineering, Quality departments, Operations, C&S and Supply Chain to define the scope of work
Take responsibility for risk management as well as for compliance with internal procedures and customer requirements
Escalate major project risks to Senior Management (e.g.: customer complaints, delays in component procurement, etc.)
Our requirements:
Msc in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or similar
Ideally 5 to 10 years' work experience in development and customer projects preferably within the automotive industry
Results-driven individual, teamwork oriented, planning, and organizational skills, pro-active
Fluency in English is a must; any other language represents a plus
Availability to frequent travels
Excellent written and oral communication skills & problem-solving abilitie
Interact well with different people and be able to work in a multi-cultural environment
